The Alan Ross Karaoke Roadshow is always on the lookout for new
talent.
We hire only the most qualified individuals and of all the resumes we
receive,
only a very few have the unique qualities upon which we insist.
Our hosts must have:
* a naturally cheery disposition
* a dedication to doing things
RIGHT
* a natural charisma that draws
people to
them
* a gift for improvisation or a
quick wit
* a knack for knowing how to
"read" an audience
* a versatile singing voice
* an appreciation for a wide
variety of
musical genres
* a good ear for sound
* a strong work ethic
* the ability to work
independently
* the ability to set up our
equipment at
each location |
|
The benefits of working for us include:
* Great hours - Our shows usually start at 8:00pm or
9:00pm,
which means you have the entire day to relax on the
beach, handle daily chores, get your personal
business done while other businesses are open during the day,
schedule doctor's appointments and even get
your dog his shots.
* A fun work environment - Since the host sets the tone
for
the night, you can make the show as much fun as you'd
like! Your energy translates to the
audience and they feed it back to you. Since you'll be making
people
happy,
they'll return that favor a hundred fold.
* Great Pay (starting at $25.00/hour) - Most entertainment
companies
pay their employees far less than we pay ours,
but we expect more from our people.
We need highly specialized individuals and we pay well to keep them
happy.
* The opportunity to perform for appreciative audiences -
Very
few jobs offer the kind of instant approval that
comes with hosting an Alan Ross Karaoke
show.
Our audiences are extremely responsive and often explode into
spontaneous applause for each vocalist.
What other job offers you a round of applause when you come in to work?
If you have ever worked in a business office,
did your coworkers ever stand and cheer when you came in?
* A fantastic musical learning experience - For people
trying
to improve their vocal talent, this is the perfect
opportunity. You vocal cords are like
any other muscle in your body, the more you use them, the more
developed
they become. Once you've been assigned
your shows, you can count on that show every week and that means
regular exercise for your voice.
* Local celebrity - All of our hosts have become very well
known
public figures. Their popularity is directly proportional
to the energy they deliver during their
shows.
People identify our hosts on the streets, send them fan mail, give them
the "celebrity treatment" at many of the area
businesses and treat them to a level of respect most people never get
to experience.
*Plus many little extras too numerous to mention!
